  • How long does it take for my order to be shipped? All orders are immediately processed and usually shipped the next business day; however, all orders are to be shipped from this location within 5 business days.

How will I know my order has been shipped? You will receive a confirmation email stating that your order has been received.  When your order is shipped, you will recieve another confirmation email with tracking information.

How do I copy your images to my website or auctions?

Choose the  item that you would like to obtain a photo.  Click on the item (thumbnail) and this will take you to the detailed page with a larger photo.  Click on "View Product Image" - this is located below the photo.  Bring the mouse pointer over the image and right click - this will cause a menu box to pop up.  From this menu box, choose the "save picture as....".  At this point, you can save the image to a directory (folder) on your hard drive that you can find later.  This image is now saved on your computer and you can download it into your website or auction.

This is a very quick way to get the photos to your computer so you can easily set up your auctions or website.  We suggest that you create a folder just for images from The Silver Box.  This will help keep you organized.

We also have a Excel Spreadsheet CD available.  Please see "dropshipping tools" for more information.

I'm a dropship customer, how do I know what is low or out of stock? We have a "Dropship Report" listed on our website.  It will keep you informed on what's low in stock, out of stock, and discontinued.  It will also inform you of new products.  This report is updated as our inventory changes.  We recommend the following:  Print out the report, go to each catagory and update your website or auctions.  Keep this report in your files.  Print another report a week later and compare to your previous print out.  You will easily be able to establish any differences in stock that may have occured during the week.

    What is sterling silver?

Sterling silver jewelry is composed of 92.5% (925 parts per thousand) silver and 7.5% copper alloy.  The copper increases the silvers hardness.  Produced in mines (mainly Peru and Mexico) sterling silver has become a popular affordable alternative to white gold or platinum.  It can be polished into a higher sheen than any other white metals.

    What is rhodium plating?

Rhodium, which is a member of the platinum family, is a metal that is durable and hard.  It has a whitish and silver appearance.  When plated on other metals it produces a bright, shiny and long lasting silver-colored finish.  This coating helps protect the silver from tarnishing, scratching, and corrosion.

What is a Cubic Zirconia (CZ) Stone?

Cubic Zirconia is the finest substitute for diamonds.  It can come in various colors and with the proper cleaning, it will retain its beauty for years.  It is a synthetic gemstone that is chemically comprised of from a cubic form of zirconium oxide and yttrium oxide.  Cubic Zirconia’s are cut in the same way diamond are cut.  Depending on the styles, our CZ’s are both machine-cut and hand-cut.  CZ’s are so solid that it outweighs a diamond of the same millimeter diameter by 1.7 times more.

How do I care for my sterling silver jewelry?

To prevent jewelry from damage, store your sterling silver jewelry in a cool, dry place individually in pouches or plastic bags to keep them from environmental harm.  Do not rub jewelry with coarse fabric, it may scratch the jewelry surface.  Do not expose to direct sunlight for long periods of time, it may fade the color of the stone.  Try to avoid direct contact with perfumes and lotions because it may leave residue on the jewelry.

To clean, wipe your jewelry with a damp cloth of warm water-detergent solution, then rinse well with clean water and air dry.  Last, polish with a lint-free soft cloth.  If your jewelry becomes tarnished, use a polish solution or a polishing cloth to the clean the piece.

    Does your plating tarnish?

We normally use high quality Rhodium plating and rhodium is considered a precious metal 3 times more expensive than gold.   This coating helps protect the silver from tarnishing, scratching, and corrosion; however, the lifespan of your plating depends on the care and environment.  Moisture, temperature, lotions, sweat, and perfumes can all effect the lifespan of the plating.

What are your suggested retail prices?

We cannot suggest an exact retail price; however, our products can be marked up 40% to 400% or up to 10 times the cost.  Our customers retail prices vary depending on their store operating cost.  Our products are considered in the higher quality range of sterling silver jewelry.
